The Mother of Bar'd


And here we go with the advert of the New Leafy Bar, and rundown of the Leafy Bar drinks that Shelia has produced.
First of all we have Valence showcasing the Sciampo, as sprited my Zman. The thing about Valence is that, well, he already has a lot of hair as it is... I honestly thing that, giving Valence a Sciampo is simply a way of trying to remove the eyes of passers-by.
Jake meanwhile demonstrates Brargh, as if he wasn't strong enough already. Honestly, I'm not overfond of that sprite looking back on it. I wasn't sure whether to beef him up slightly (as I did) or go a tad more overboard. I'm not sure if the current version is simply too... understated. Mind you, this is coming from the guy who seems to work on over-muscly characters a tad too much anyway, so I'm probably biased.
Saida lastly, demonstrating Quad. I'll admit, this was a choice specifically based on convenience. I already made Saida four-armed in BANG briefly, before leaving. Really, it's actually quite impractical for her, considering her power... but let's not delve into that for now~

...Hold on, Logic Bomb. Caek is aware she's looking at us, but in her universe, she's also looking at a camera. How does that work? And do the recordings of Caek somehow spawn their own intelligence and know that they too are fictional!?

It works if you think about it. Caek always has the fourth-wall camera, but since in this case, the fourth-wall camera is also a NORMAL camera, the two are one and the same...

So really, you'd never be able to surprise her on Candid Camera, or some crap, wouldja?

@Whip: The shirt hasn't been duplicated as such, more, it's been stretched downwards. I did take that into account when spriting it, thus why it's covering the bottom half of... *ahem* the 'top pair' and the top half of the bottom pair.

So bunny ears count as head ornaments now? I've seen some bunny characters that tie their ears like a ponytail but that has got to hurt to cut out any excess growth.

You know they usually close off sets when shooting a commercial. It's not his fault that it was still open. At least he can be cut.

In the 2nd and 3th panel. It says that hair and/or hair equivalents like spines, bunny ears and other similar head ornaments will be affected by Sciampo and that any excess growth can be cut out.
So while I can understand that hair, spines, feathers or scales can be cut down to the preferred length it seems painful to me to do that with ears.
