So, today we learnt that sometimes effects which work well on their own don't work so well together. See; my rain effects and my fire effects. The techniques tended to look alright on their own but as soon as you have rain layered over fire... Well, let's just say that I'm not happy with the effects here, and these are the ones which were only reached after a lot of additional messing around to get them. I can only hope that it's clear what's happening...
