The Mother of Bar'd	I realise this update is quite early, however, I'm out for most of tomorrow, add the fact I have an announcement to make. The announcement is, that I'm taking a small break from spriting and such-like, so you probably all won't be seeing me around as much. The reason primarily is stress. I seem to've been suffering a lot from it lately, both mentally and physcially. At the moment, what's supposed to be a hobby just seems to've added itself onto a list of draining chores, and I don't want it to become that. So hopefully, a small break should do me well. You might catch me around just doing some catching up on other series around here, but don't really expect too much out of me. For and Bar'd fans out there who want your fill, I'm pre-uploading about a month's worth of pages to SmackJeeves, so sorry to any forumites, but you can either wait till I'm back or just keep an eye on SJ page for updates. Hopefully I should've reasserted myself before those updates run out and then I can get to making more issues and keep my timetable running smoothly. So yes, wish me luck, and I hope to see you all again soon. I'd best get to that uploading.

	For a human, that sure does look like a yellow rabbit or some such business. Being a sonic edit does absolutely nothing to help matters. If he hadn't specifically said he was human, then I'm not sure it would be recognizable at all. The joke was trite, and fairly predictable. Again, it's an inside joke, nothing condemnable, but worth avoiding. This is a strip that you probably could have done much better without. I have no suggestions for better execution, except in the artwork.

	Is someone trying to vote down Bar'd? The original score was 5, but now its 3.67. Is someone trying to be a troll? Whoever it is, its not cool. And that's not coming from the author of Bar'd.

	Query goes, does the comic really deserve a 5? http://www.neorice.com/aptgg_189 Doesn't match this comic by a long shot, neither in art nor writing. If 5 means that a comic is the best that can be, then clearly something is wrong with the rating of this one. If giving a comic the vote it deserves is trolling, then clearly someone changed the definition of troll while I wasn't looking. EDIT: Worth mentioning, trolling would be, "Misrepresenting your own opinions or beliefs in order to infuriate others."

	Sorry for using the term inside joke. Wrong connotation. That was a mistake. As for going through the old ones, I went on an archive binge and read the whole comic. Hence me commenting on older ones. Not preferable, but no good alternative. Of course I can't expect people to do more than rage. That would mean people separating their emotions from their logic and acting rationally. Isn't that a silly world? If he ignores criticism, then its his loss, not that I'm giving up any time soon.

	About comparing this comic to that other thingy: It's a matter of taste. You say this comic isn't anywhere close to the link's quality. I think the comic you saw was a little bland. Some people just have weird tastes. In this case, most of the people here like this comic, where you don't.
